In 1977, Renald Jean purchased the rain gutter installation company he had been working for over the previous years. In a short amount of time, he developed his business into the most thriving company within Montreal’s metropolitan region in the gutter installation industry.

In 1995, Vaillancourt began a new business activity in the fabrication and installation of jointless metal roofing. Driven by the desire to offer superior custom quality as well as to diminish installation costs, Vaillancourt became a pioneer in the development of an innovative fabrication process called : on-site manufacturing.

For more than 35 years, the specialized team at Toitures et Gouttières Vaillancourt (ou Vaillancourt Roofing and Gutters) has a sole commitment; to offer innovative products of the utmost quality adapted to its customers’ needs.

Vaillancourt Jointless Roofing and Gutters is a trustworthy partner for every construction and renovation project.

At Vaillancourt Roofing and Gutters, we are conscientious of the environment. We evolve around our core concept; on-site fabrication which eliminates packaging.

We constantly revise our operations in order to maximise our environmental performance. As such, we have acquired the very first Volt (electric car manufactured by Chevrolet) now driven by our sales representatives.

We have also switched our trucks to a Propane-based system, which considerably reduces fuel consumption. As for material, we recycle all of our steel and aluminum waste. Moreover, the metal used for our sheathing is made of recycled material and is 100% recyclable.

Steel sheathing such as the one made by Vaillancourt has a lifespan of approximately 150 years. By comparison, shingle roofing has a lifespan of approximately 25 years.50 YEARS WARRANTY

Made of recycled material, 100% recyclable.

The absence of joints allows for better impermeability all the more so that the material is durable.NO HIDDEN FLAWS!

With jointless features and various adorning finishes such as moldings and brackets, not one detail is overlooked on the aesthetic front!

Made to measure

Designed according to your needs, manufactured right on-site, tailored to your desired look and colour scheme. On-site manufacturing avoids any defects typically caused by transportation or packaging.

Steel Sheathings generate cooler temperature by summer and warmer temperature by winter, which reduces your electricity bill; a smart mid-term and long-term investment!

From ledge to roof, we are the specialists of jointless metal sheathing. Thanks to our exclusive manufacturing process, we are able to bring our work plant to your worksite. The material is made to measure on-site and is immediately installed by specialists. This way, there are no intermediaries, no manipulations and neither any damages caused by transportation. The metal is always in perfect state and the measurements are precise every time. There are no size limits to what we can do, whether it be for roofing or for gutters, in steel or copper.

Lead times are very short from the moment the order is made to our experts’ arrival on your site. Ultimately, our clients are the ones benefiting from all these advantages by saving costs while also receiving superior quality products. Our sheathings are not only aesthetic but also resistant and durable.

We are a manufacture and installer of residential architectural metal roofs. Thanks to our on-site manufacturing, our roofs are jointless, hence impermeable and aesthetic. The durability of a steel roof such as those is unparalleled: more than 150 years! It is also an ecologic matter being that the steel is both partly made of recycled material and completely recyclable after its lifespan.

Furthermore, the paint on our panels has a reflecting characteristic which prevents ‘heat island’ effect and can significantly reduce a house’s air conditioning costs.

It is possible for us to curve our roof panels in order to align them with the curves of your roof. Indeed, we are the only company capable of curving panels directly on-site which allows us to adjust the angle of the curve to the desired fit.

This is the ideal application that can suit the concave and convex curves of ancestral and patrimonial houses (see portfolio).

Thanks to our on-site manufacturing, our gutters are fabricated without joints to adjust to the required size. The risks of dripping are thus eliminated. We offer a round profile gutter with a 6’’ diameter or a 7’’ square profile gutter which can complement various house styles.

Steel gutters are more solid than aluminum ones and are ideal for the type of sheathing we are offering; they can withhold a larger load of snow and ice as opposed to aluminum gutters, which can easily bend or rip.

Fascias and soffits add a touch of aesthetic design to our sheathing systems. We design made to measure fascia and soffit adapted to your needs and to suit the style of your house. These can be ventilated or not as your needs may require it.

We offer them in pre-painted steel, in stainless steel as well as in copper.

Snow stoppers are highly recommended at Vaillancourt for security measures. Indeed, ice and snow slide faster on metal surfaces.

As a bonus, they add their aesthetic touch to the job!

This gutter’s half-crescent profile allows leaves and debris to evacuate along with the water. We also add a mesh to prevent any possible blockage; that means no more maintenance!

Vaillancourt Roofing and Gutter manufactures and installs jointless metal architectural walls.
This type of wall is ideal for instutitional and industrial buildings. See what we did for Ste-Justine hospital in our portfolio section.

We manufacture made to measure mouldings to suit any style. Moldings have a decorative purpose and are available in pre-painted steel, stainless steel as well as in copper. They add a finishing touch to our sheathing system.

We manufacture roof panels from different metals; pre-painted steel, galvalume steel, stainless steel as well as copper. We offer a wide array of exclusive and universal pre-painted colours.
